Clemente Segrera, born on 11 March 1951 in Ciego de Avila, is a highly talented autodidact, he never attended art school. But he studied the great painters at an early age and was fascinated by Mondrian, Paul Klee and Dali. His painting went through many different styles, from figurative landscape paintings to abstract paintings and finally to surrealistic painting. His paintings live from a strong plasticity. This is created by lively, fresh colours combined with an extremely skilful use of light. Many of his paintings seem strongly three-dimensional and often almost photographic - despite their irritating surrealism. Pure magic!of your business.
